Hey, I remember thinking that way, too. Back in high school, before I figured out why girls might prefer the company of someone active and successful to someone who sat around in his room all the time, mooning over his friends and polishing his theories of why he's not getting any.
It's called the stink of desparation, and you can smell it from a mile off, kids.
