Shiny Happy People
I live in a building filled with Beautiful People in Happy Couples.
Every so often one gets to me, and I stare at them. I stare at them
with the baleful glare of hatred. I stare with the white-hot fire
of liquid BITTER.
And they never notice as they coo and cuddle with each other.
One day I will snap, and many beautiful people will scream in
bloodcurdling wails, experiencing real pain for the first time in
their dreary, pathetic, simpleton lives.

BITTER pills
But until that point they will live wonderful lives, experiencing highs that we can only dream about or can only be achieved (by us) by the use of expensive and illegal pharmaceuticals. And the most disiappointing things that will ever happen in their lives will be when their car gets dented by a careless bicyclist or when one of their four well-behaved, beautiful, intelligent and socially adept children doesn't get into Harvard, and has to settle for Yale.
And further, you can't get all of them, so some of them will experience this sort of bliss for their entire lives. Pity them.

Careful, someone might think you hate your life and have no love in it.

Don't confuse things. It is not about you hating your life. It is about your life hating you.
The love is the struggle for survival. It is the phlegm that we choke on as we gasp for breath.
