Rumination on the BITTER
When people deride something as "simple" and "unfunny" as Peanuts, do they realize what a pure view of the BITTER they are missing?
Do you understand that the BITTER is founded on the premise of tragic love?
If you need mythological references to help you understand the BITTER, try the Book of Job in the Judeochristian mythos reference "The Holy Bible".
Remember, while we are focusing on the BITTER as a pungent cloak for turning the stomachs of those who turn ours on February 14, the BITTER has many expressions and causes, not all of which are due to 'love'.
Take, for instance, the sheer inanity present in everyday academic or corporate existence. There is plenty that causes the BITTER to flow and plenty being tapped into the wellspring of BITTER can do for you in such times.
However, it is true that in matters of the heart, we are at our most vulnerable, and the pathetic "autres" out there are at their most capricious and malicious, and as such it is perhaps the most fertile and ripe source and target for the BITTER.
The BITTER is gender-neutral.
